The lodge itself and the surrounding gardens at Dove Lodge were absolutely stunning! I couldn't get enough of the beautiful views and enjoyed having breakfast while admiring the garden every morning. It was also impressively clean and well, maintained. the hosts, Peter and Judy, were truly lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. We brought our 6, month, old cockapoo with us, and the lodge was perfect for accommodating our furry friend. I would highly recommend Dove Lodge as a wonderful place to stay and would love to go back again!

That the noise from the living area could be heard quite loudly in the bedroom downstairs, which affected our sleep. the layout of the lodge with a double and single bed in the same room limited privacy, especially when traveling with a child.

The lodge provided an really good home stay experience, making us feel right at home. From the warm welcome by Peter to the beautifully equipped kitchen, we couldn't have asked for more. Waking up to a fine sunrise from our bedroom was blissful. The garden was also a lovely addition, and we even got to enjoy some fresh apples and pears. we were inspired by our nature retreat and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
